I appreciated the attentive service from the staff. The room was comfortable and clean (I had a great rest). The bar area offered many beers and spirits. The breakfast included full English options and pancakes.
The television signal in the room was intermittent, disrupting viewing (especially during peak hours).

a decent experience

i was happy to secure a table on short notice for my family of five. two of us ordered the roast and it was seriously great. the cauliflower cheese and chipolata sides were really yummy too (i especially loved the generous gravy portions).
The hallways and carpets seem like they really need some love, to be honest. it's a bit dark and the carpet looks quite worn. the bed was strangely pushed against the wall. The person next to the wall didn't have a table or shelf, which wasn't very convenient.

The room was nice and neat. The breakfast was generous with coffee pods and the bathroom had fabulous decoration.
I did book a Sunday lunch online a few hours before. No one greeted us upon arrival, and we had to wander around to find someone at the bar.
